Nicole applied for a job with us in February 2020… tricky times! Luckily for us when we contacted her in July she was free and keen so she’s joined our team and we couldn’t be happier :)
Hey everyone, I’m Nicole! A 24 year old pure-bred Cumbrian who loves animals (clearly!) I keep myself quite active with walking my Springer Spaniel; Mishka, as well as riding horses and my bike. I’m actually hoping to do my first MTB race at the end of March 2021!!
I also run my own Personal Training & Sports Therapy business called NB Fitness & Therapy but wanted something a little bit different and unique to do on the side! And what’s more unique than saying that you’re an Alpaca Walker?!
I started working with the Alpacas at Alpacaly Ever After in the weirdest time of 2020 after Lockdown after I started seeing the Alpacas throughout 2019/early 2020 whilst I was Mountain Biking up at Whinlatter Forest and had to always be dragged away from them! One of my friends sent me the link to an available job there and I was SOLD!
Apart from having the opportunity to walk around a beautiful place such as Lingholm Estate, I get to meet a range of people coming to see the Alpacas as well as being able to play with the Alpacas myself!
Jebediah has got to be my favourite boy so far with his cheeky hum and constant belly tickling in any tree he can find!
