Natasha joined us in 2018 and she is our resident Wild Child and secret Super Geek. She is not only a walking and trekking guide, she also uses her super smarts to keep all our medical records up to date and ship shape, and is working on nature surveys of all our sites…
Originally from Manchester, I came to Cumbria to join Alpacaly Ever After, I have always loved the Lake District though and have been brought up coming to the area for holidays!
Before I went to University I was actually in recruitment – but decided I wanted a career change… I started at Alpacaly Ever After in October 2018. I wanted to join the company after following them on social media for a year and loved the fact that they were a social enterprise and how much all the team love and care for the alpacas. I just really enjoy the joy that alpacas bring to people and how happy it makes the guests that come to visit us. I also love that the majority of our animals are rescued or re-homed to us!
My absolute favourite alpaca is Boo, just because he is so cheeky (slightly naughty at times too!). I also love Grizzly Bear because he is just like a big fluffy teddy bear! My favourite Llama has to be Ming, he’s the most handsome in my opinion!
In my spare time I love to go walking, trying out different restaurants, gigs and festivals! I have a real passion for wildlife conservation (I have a MSc in it!). I like to do volunteering with the local bat groups and badger groups and volunteer undertaking ecological surveys.
I am planning a trip to Vancouver, Canada as my next big holiday.
When asked that classic question ‘who would you ask to dinner?’ Natasha said… David Attenborough, just because he is god. James Martin (maybe rope him into doing a bit of cooking too!). Katy Perry because she just looks really good company, I love all her costume designs too. Eminem, I find him really intriguing (also seen him live several times and he is absolutely brilliant) and Lethal Bizzle as he knows how to party!
Natasha regularly gets a mention on our Tripadvisor reviews… 5 Stars all the waaaaaay….
“Had the most amazing time at such a stunning location. Our guide Natasha was fantastic and of course the gorgeous alpacas 🦙 would highly recommend this experience. Thank you so much for such a lovely day”
“We spent an hour or so walking with Danny and Jasper (the Essex Boys!). The experience was truly magical and we enjoyed every minute. Natasha was the perfect guide, friendly and knowledgeable, and took some amazing pictures. This really is the perfect location to take these beautiful, gentle animals for a wander. Thank you so much!!!”
“My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed a stroll around Lingholm estate with Jebediah, Stevie Wonder and of course Natasha. The alpacas were (mostly) impeccably behaved while Natasha was really personable and informative about the estate, the area and the stars of the show of course. It’s hard not to love the alpacas and the staff’s affection and personal knowledge of each one just makes that even easier. They helped us feel at ease immediately with our new friends. A great experience to spend time with these guys – thanks!”
