This gift voucher entitles two very luck people indeed to an amazing adventure Trekking one llama through the stunning Whinlattter Forest! Be surrounded by the beauty of the Lake District World Heritage Site, as you take on the Seat How Summit trail, climbing to 500m through forest and heather moorland. This circular walk takes in spectacular views of both Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite Lake as well as the Skiddaw and Helvellyn mountain ranges!
Alpacaly Ever After are thrilled to be working with Forestry England to offer our guided Llama treks for you, your family and your friends in our mixed group treks with a gang of fellow llama lovers! Trail through England’s only true mountain forest, get to know our awesome llamas up close along the way, take part in feeding time and ask as many questions as you can think of!
- Vouchers are valid for 12 months and are non-refundable.
- Llama Trekking voucher for 2 people walking 1 llama on a Mixed Group Trek.
- Activity takes place at Whinlatter Forest, Keswick, Cumbria CA12 5TW.
- Prices start at £75 per person walking 1 llama, or £60 per person for 2 people sharing 1 llama.
- NO UNDER 16’S ALLOWED. This is due to health and safety reasons.
- All visitors under 18 yrs must be accompanied by a parent as part of the booking.
- Activity lasts 3.5 hours – walk 3 hours with a safety introduction at the start.
- The walk has some steep gradients and rough terrain and is suitable for people with moderate to good fitness and ability levels only. Walking distance of 6.85km
- This is a Mixed Group activity led by our guides. Maximum group sizes of up to 8 walkers, 4 llamas.
- No accompanying walkers on mixed group treks. All walkers must be paid for as part of the booking with either 1 llama per person or 1 llama between 2 people.
- Walking boots are essential for this activity. If you don’t own a pair they are available to rent at George Fisher in Keswick Here
- There will be roughly a 15/20 minute break at the top so please bring some snacks to fuel up!
- Site facilities include cafe and visitor centre with washrooms, carparking and disabled parking, playgounds and various outdoor activities including cycling routes, Go Ape and children’s nature trails.
