What to Expect
Currently everyday at 2:30pm.
- Activity takes place at The Lingholm Estate, Portinscale, Keswick, The Lake District CA12 5TZ.
- Prices start at £20 for visitors 12 yrs & over, £12 for children 4 – 11 yrs, and under 4s are free.
- All visitors under 18 yrs must be accompanied by a parent as part of the booking.
- The activity lasts roughly 40 mins.
- Involves hand feeding the boys on their home field, meeting the herd, having all your alpaca questions answered by our guides and taking lots of pictures!

- Site facilities include a large cafe & bakery with indoor and outdoor seating, washrooms and disabled toilets, carparking and disabled parking, walled garden, grounds, jetty onto Derwent Water.
Meet The Alpacas at The Lingholm Estate
And so it was once upon a time when The Lingholm Estate was the perfect place to live alpacaly ever after! Situated on the Western Shore of Derwentwater in a dramatic location, it is surrounded by incredible views of some of the best loved Lakeland fells.
As a Non-Profit Social Enterprise all the income from our activities goes back into supporting the work we do re-homing and rescuing alpacas and llamas, and providing free and subsidised activities for third sector organisations! For more information about the work we do have a look here
