Full Day Llama Trekking

Alpacaly Ever After are now thrilled to offer an adventure day like no other! Trekking the stunning North Western Fells with one of our awesome Once Upon a Llamas! Be surrounded by the beauty of the Lake District World Heritage Site, as you hike over 2000ft, ticking of at least two Wainwrights! Bask in the breathtaking views over Derwentwater, and get to know your fascinating new llama friend along your journey.

As a Non-Profit Social Enterprise all the income from our activities goes back into supporting the work we do re-homing and rescuing alpacas and llamas, and providing free and subsidised activities for third sector organisations! For more information about the work we do have a look here

What to Expect

Our guides will record your adventure with photographs throughout the trek absolutely free of charge!

  • Activity takes place from Littletown Farm Guest House CA12 5TU.
  • Prices start at £150 per person walking 1 llama.
  • NO UNDER 16s on this activity. All visitors under 18 yrs must be accompanied by a parent as part of the booking with 1 llama per person.
  • This walk has a 6 – 8 hour duration, steep gradients and rough terrain and is suitable for people with good fitness and ability levels only.
  • Some previous experience of walking in the mountains is recommended. We will be walking up to 10 miles and ascending over 2000 ft throughout the day. 
  • This is a Mixed Group activity led by our guides. Group sizes of up to 8 walkers, 8 llamas.
  • No accompanying walkers on mixed group treks. All walkers must be paid for as part of the booking with 1 llama per person.
  • Walking boots are available to hire during the booking process.
  • Picnic lunch and snacks can be provided at an additional cost upon request when booking, menu provided by the awesome Syke Farm Tea Room! (£15 per person).
  • This activity is not suitable for individuals with vertigo or moderate asthma. Please state pre-existing medical conditions that may affect strenuous exercise when booking.
