This is what being a Social Enterprise is all about… and it’s thanks to all of you in The Woolly Army!
As part of Our Mission we aim to make our alpaca and llama experiences accessible to all and provide everyone with an inspiring, memorable experience and an opportunity to connect with nature in a way that contributes to their wellbeing. Thanks to all of you lovely, lovely people that have come on a walk or trek with us and then donated an experience to others, we have a pot of funds that we use to offer free activities to third sector organisations and charities.
We did just this recently for the amazing team from Y.A.R.S (Young Adult Respite Service), they brought a group of vulnerable young adults to Meet and Greet our Alpaca Mums and Babies and it was awesome!
Visiting the alpacaly ever after and spending time with alpacas in their natural environment was such a special experience. Thank you Emma.
If you haven’t visited the alpaca farm in Keswick your missing out, what a find. Go and enjoy!!

Loved every minute of the alpaca experience and the staff are so knowledge and welcoming.
Best thing we have done with our group, so relaxing and rewarding. Our young disabled adults found it so therapeutic.
The whole experience has been magical for our disabled adults, they loved spending time with these beautiful animals and being able to get close up for photos and feeding. It’s a day they won’t forget in a hurry. We will certainly be back. Thank you to all involved in making this happen.
